Another weekend bites the dust....

And I accomplished the things I needed to.  Scrap or quilting time...not so much.  But the house is clean, the refrigerator is stocked, meals are planned and the car is clean inside and out.  Oldest daugher also moved back in today, so that was a bit of commotion and to-do.   For how long, who knows.  But it will be kind of nice to have her around for a while.  Kaitlyn and I are wrapping up the weekend by watching Tangled.

Here is a card I made a week or so ago....

 

Next week  is the busiest week of the year at work, so I don't know how much I will post.  I do have lots of photos taken and ready to go if I muster the gumption in the evening. Hope this upcoming week is good for you.

Another PTI card from the February release...

A TOTAL and COMPLETE copy, I must add.  I liked the card so much from the release preview days that I decided that I 'needed' this set.

Doilys and buttons and tags, oh my!

 

I do so love Papertrey Ink.  The stamps (button card frame, the leaf, the sentiment), the dies (the doily, the button card itself, the flower, the sentiment label) ...all PTI.  I have been playing with the button card die and stamp set the last couple of nights, just making up a bunch to have as gift tags.  Maybe they will find their way onto a card.  Who knows.  For now I am just enjoying creating for fun and with no particular end result in mind.  I will show the tags tomorrow.

So glad to see you back here today.  This lovely little stamp set is from Hero Arts and isn't it fun!  Can't beat ledger-y type paper and old typewriters, IMHO.  I even drug out some old clear dome stickers to make the typewriter looking H-E-L-L-O at the top.  See...I TOLD you I was using up old stuff.    The black spiral clip is another oldey from the stash.

Something I have not shown for a while, but certainly am still doing and loving to do.

 

This one was pretty darn simple and fast.  I used Bo Bunny Mamma Razzi paper, some twine, and Tim Holtz pins, washers, and word charm. Done.
