Do you still use a paper and pen day planner? I do. I make one every year. I use it less and less every year, what with trying to take advantage of apps on my iPad and iPhone, plus not having so much going on now that the kiddos are are of the house. But I still reach for, use, and enjoy my homemade dayplanners. This is this year's model:
Over the years I have experiemented with different sizes and styles. One year I made one with file folders and it has been one of my favorites, even thought it was actually too big and cumbersome. The next year I made one with purchased day planner refill pages, but found it to be too small.
Here is the inside:
I made the blank calendar pages on an Excel spreadsheet and then use either stickers or stamps to do the months and decorating. I use a Stampin Up tab punch for the sides. Here is the 2011 model:
